Package: This time Memory records again treated us with poor package. However, the most important thing for us is content, which is fantastic!

Elvis: This is almost the end of the 1970' Summer Vegas engagement and Elvis is in his best form. He jokes, impersonates Bob Dylan (not very successful, frankly speaking), makes impersonations of Johnny Cash during Polk Salad Annie and enjoys the audience. We wish Elvis could stay the same through all the 70-s! Moreover, the sound quality is very good for an audience recording.

Highlights: This release is unique due to the fact that this particular show was not released not only on bootlegs, but it never circulated in a complete form even on audience releases. The same with the bonus songs - the midnight show from September 4, 1970 is released for the public for the first time. The bonuses include a joking version of My Way. For some reason, Elvis jokes on this song, not realizing that some 6-7 years later this song will be his confession. Among other highlights are Crying Time and Polk Salad Annie. Thanks Memory records for such a great bonus!

In overall this CD is a must have for every Elvis live performances fan. For the moment this CD is the only release featuring a Las Vegas show from September 1970 (with August 1970 very well covered with many CD's). We talked about the necessity of releasing September 1970 shows some time ago, when reviewing another Memory releases - Las Vegas Summer festival (vol. 1 and vol. 2). We hope people at Memory records will meet fans' requests in the future as well!
