Review: The only color photo is on the cover of the book, however the second color one (on the back) is from the 60's era. This album brings us back to the times when Elvis performed in his home town. Not including the famous 1974 return, the book starts with June 10, 1975 show. This concert was recorded on soundboard and released on Let Me Take You Home. This tour was very good and this photos prove it.
The second part gives us a chance to see the magic moments of the great July 5, 1976 concert. This was the last time Elvis performed in Memphis and this concert was released in a great soundboard quality by Fort Baxter label on the double CD set called Goodbye Memphis. I think Elvis liked to perform in his home, where he left the building right to Graceland. may be. This was the reason why this concert is a real masterpiece and these photos are the only chance to feel the small part of that show.
As a bonus we can find the section of "Memphis Recordings 1953-1977" which gives us many info on songs, Elvis ever recorded in Memphis during his life. For example, the part of "America the beautiful" does exist on the tapes from 1976 session. Also some private photos from 1975-76 in Memphis constitute a good edition.
