Title: On Tour With Elvis (published in 1991)

Language: English

Number of pages: 230

Contents: This great book features the June 1975 tour of Elvis, covering every concert he gave in every city. The author followed Elvis on tour and gives us a chance to see every concert through his eyes.

Review: This tour is very famous, mostly because many concerts were released from the soundboard (Deep Down South, Cut Em' Down To Size, Let Me Take You Home, Sold Out In Dixie to name a few). Some songs from the tour were officially released by BMG on ELVIS ARON PRESLEY 4 CD box set.

Elvis was in great spirit that summer. That followed to the illness in the August of 1975. He gave out many great shows, with many jokes and clowning. His most often used joke was the one before kissing somebody: "Ladies and Gentleman, last night I kissed someone and I caught the creeping crud. So if I got it, you got it too" He included shows such highlights as: The Wonder Of You, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Burning Love, If You Love Me Let Me Know and others to the show. This tour is also known because Elvis used to have fun with J.D. Sumner, while he was singing Why Me Lord?

Everything is here, in this book. You can also find the complete info on every concert gross, tickets from each concert, never before released photographs taken by the author, newspaper's articles, dates of other performances Elvis gave in each city. A great bonus is that book is very easy to read. A color photo is added on the cover, although the inside is black and white.

Here is the review from the author:
